Master armorer

Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets are the Mastercrafted tier of the Forgotten Wolven set's gauntlets, medium witcher armor from the base game. They give 74 armor at level 34, with +10% Aard sign intensity. The diagram comes from a bookshelf in the Kaer Morhen keep. These gauntlets are late-game gear.

They also give +3% piercing, +5% slashing, +3% monster and +4% elemental resistance. The Aard bonus fits the set's 6-piece bonus, which adds Aard damage against enemies caught in Yrden.

The Mastercrafted and Grandmaster diagrams for the whole set come together from the same quest.

Set Bonus

The Forgotten Wolven set is medium armor. It has three tiers: Standard at level 20, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: potions last 7% longer per set piece. 6 pieces: Aard deals extra damage to enemies affected by Yrden.

How to Get Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets

  • Start Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams.
  • Read Osmund's notes and Vesemir's note on the bookshelf platform inside the Kaer Morhen keep.
  • The quest then gives every Mastercrafted and Grandmaster diagram for the set.
  • A master armorer crafts them.

Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets Map Location and Quest Guide

The Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets diagram unlocks when Geralt reads Osmund's Notes and Vesemir's Note on a bookshelf platform inside the Kaer Morhen keep, during Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams. The pin marks the quest, which begins when In the Eternal Fire's Shadow ends. Reading both notes unlocks every mastercrafted and grandmaster diagram of the set.

  1. Finish In the Eternal Fire's Shadow to start the hunt.
  2. Travel to Kaer Morhen and enter the main hall of the keep.
  3. Find the bookshelves on the left side of the hall and climb the ladder to the upper platform.
  4. Use Witcher Senses to find Osmund's Notes and Vesemir's Note on the bookshelf at the far end of the platform.
  5. Read both notes to unlock the Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets diagram.
