Master armorer

Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets are the NG+ Legendary variant of Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets, medium witcher armor. They give 75 armor at level 35, with +10% Aard intensity. They are a Kaer Morhen find that needs level 34 on top of the NG+ starting level.

They also give +3% piercing, +5% slashing, +3% monster and +4% elemental resistance. The regular gauntlets give 74 armor with the same bonuses.

Set Bonus

The Forgotten Wolven set is medium armor with three tiers: Standard, Mastercrafted and Grandmaster. 3 pieces: potions last 7% longer per set piece. 6 pieces: Aard deals extra damage to enemies affected by Yrden.

How to Get Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets

  • In NG+, complete Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams at the bookshelf in Kaer Morhen.
  • A master armorer crafts them.

Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets Map Location and Quest Guide

Reading Osmund's notes and Vesemir's note on a bookshelf inside the Kaer Morhen keep unlocks the Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets diagram, along with every mastercrafted and grandmaster diagram of the set. The pin marks Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams, which begins once In the Eternal Fire's Shadow ends in Velen. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.

  1. Speak to the priest of the Eternal Fire at the Devil's Pit in Velen to start In the Eternal Fire's Shadow. He gives Geralt the key to the mine.
  2. Unlock the mine gate and follow the path through the mine to the doors with Reinald's fifth letter.
  3. Free Reinald from the salt stalagmites with Aard.
  4. Defeat the possessed Reinald, then the Red Miasmal.
  5. Talk to Reinald after the fight. He gives Geralt his armor and sword diagrams, and Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams begins.
  6. Travel to Kaer Morhen and enter the keep.
  7. Climb the ladder by the bookshelves on the left to the upper platform.
  8. Read Osmund's notes and Vesemir's note on the bookshelf at the far end of the platform. They unlock the Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Gauntlets diagram.
