Master armorer

Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Trousers are the NG+ variant of Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Trousers, medium witcher gear. They give 79 armor and +10% sign intensity at level 35. Their diagram comes from Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams in Kaer Morhen. They are late-game trousers that ask for level 34 beyond the NG+ starting level.

They also give +8% slashing, +10% monster and +25% elemental resistance. Their bonuses match the regular Mastercrafted trousers, with 1 more armor and a higher level.

Set Bonus

The Forgotten Wolven set is medium armor. It has three tiers: Standard at level 20, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: potions last 7% longer per set piece worn. 6 pieces: Aard deals extra damage to enemies affected by Yrden.

How to Get Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Trousers

  • In NG+, start Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams.
  • Inside the Kaer Morhen keep, read Osmund's notes and Vesemir's note on the bookshelf platform.
  • The quest then gives every Mastercrafted and Grandmaster diagram for the set.
  • A master armorer crafts them.

Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide

Reading Osmund's notes and Vesemir's note on a bookshelf inside the Kaer Morhen keep unlocks the Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Trousers diagram, along with every mastercrafted and grandmaster diagram of the set. The pin marks Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams, which begins once In the Eternal Fire's Shadow ends in Velen. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.

  1. Speak to the priest of the Eternal Fire at the Devil's Pit in Velen to start In the Eternal Fire's Shadow. He gives Geralt the key to the mine.
  2. Unlock the mine gate and follow the path through the mine to the doors with Reinald's fifth letter.
  3. Free Reinald from the salt stalagmites with Aard.
  4. Defeat the possessed Reinald, then the Red Miasmal.
  5. Talk to Reinald after the fight. He gives Geralt his armor and sword diagrams, and Scavenger Hunt: Forgotten Wolf School Gear Diagrams begins.
  6. Travel to Kaer Morhen and enter the keep.
  7. Climb the ladder by the bookshelves on the left to the upper platform.
  8. Read Osmund's notes and Vesemir's note on the bookshelf at the far end of the platform. They unlock the Mastercrafted Legendary Forgotten Wolven Trousers diagram.
