Nilfgaardian Guardsman's Gauntlets are Relic heavy gauntlets. They give +50% crit damage, the highest crit damage of any gauntlets. They are fairly common random loot, and armorers in Skellige and Toussaint sell them from level 31. They are late-game gauntlets, and looted pairs roll their level on the drop.

They also give +5% piercing, +5% bludgeoning, +5% slashing and +5% monster resistance. The crit damage suits a sword build that stacks critical hits. Looted copies give 5-9 armor plus 2 per level.

How to Get Nilfgaardian Guardsman's Gauntlets

  • Relic (loot): Fairly common random loot. From level 31, buy them from any armorer in Skellige or Toussaint, or the merchant at the sawmill northeast of Rannvaig. A special pair sits in a chest inside the House of Respite, along with a Nilfgaardian Guardsman Armor.
  • Relic (crafted): Find the diagram at a random diagram location, or buy it from any Skellige armorer or the merchant at the sawmill northeast of Rannvaig.

Nilfgaardian Guardsman's Gauntlets Map Location

A special pair of Nilfgaardian Guardsman's Gauntlets waits in a chest inside the House of Respite, next to the Nilfgaardian Helmet, with a Nilfgaardian Guardsman Armor. The pin marks the helmet beside the chest. This pair has the stats of the regular gauntlets and changes look with the Alternate Nilfgaardian Armor option.
