Pomp and Strange Circumstance follows Tesham Mutna when Syanna survives. Anna Henrietta invites Geralt to a ceremony to award him the Vitis Vinifera medal, the highest honour in Toussaint. Regis believes Syanna planned five murders from the start, not four. He wants to know who the fifth victim was meant to be. The answer is the duchess herself. What Geralt says to Syanna before the ceremony can decide whether the sisters live or die.

Choices
The fate of the two sisters is decided in Syanna's cell. Geralt must first learn that the duchess was the fifth victim. In the talk with Syanna, two answers matter. The first is "Cause she turned her back on you, forgot about you." The second is "Ever thought to forgive her?"
With the right answers and enough of Syanna's story heard in the Land of a Thousand Fables, the sisters argue in front of the court and forgive each other. Otherwise Syanna feigns peace and kills Anna Henrietta with a hairpin. A ducal guardsman then cuts Syanna down. Geralt later visits the crypt where both sisters lie.
