Affiliation	Armorer
Location	Velen
DLC	Base game

Yoana is a master armorer at the forge in Crow's Perch, in Velen. In public she poses as the helper of the dwarf Fergus Graem. Geralt learns the truth in the secondary quest Master Armorers.

Lore

---

The real talent at the Crow's Perch forge belongs to Yoana. Fergus is only a figurehead. They chose this plan because people would never believe a woman could have such skill.

Story

---

Geralt asks Fergus about master armor. Yoana speaks up and tells of the smithing tools of Clan Tordarroch on Undvik. With those tools, a smith could make armor that is both light and strong. Geralt finds the tools at the Clan Tordarroch Forge, where an ice troll guards them.

Soon after, the Nilfgaardian general Harmon aep Groenekan orders armor from the forge. Yoana has had enough of being a helper. She tells Geralt that she is the true master armorer. She asks him to help her prove it. Her armor needs acid, and an archgriffin has been seen nearby. Geralt brings her an archgriffin acid gland.

Groenekan then puts both suits of armor to a test. Crossbow bolts are fired at the men wearing them, and Geralt wears Yoana's suit. Her armor stops the bolt. The general gives the forge to Yoana. Fergus prepares to leave, but Yoana lets him stay as her assistant. A day later, she forges Witch Hunter's Armor for Geralt. From then on she crafts master armor from diagrams.

If Geralt refuses the test, the general calls Yoana a fraud. She packs up her things and leaves Velen for good.

Relationships

---

Fergus Graem takes the credit for Yoana's work at the forge. If she wins the test, he stays on as her assistant.
