Anthony Gilchrist is a Militech employee and the traitor behind the theft of a Militech convoy by Maelstrom. He feeds the gang details of company shipments in exchange for a cut of the profits. Meredith Stout suspects him but cannot prove it, and the outcome of The Pickup decides which of them comes out on top.

The Mole

Gilchrist secretly works with Maelstrom while the gang is still led by Brick. Through a gang member called Patricia, he passes on the routes of Militech convoys, and Maelstrom robs them and shares the money. One of the stolen goods is the Flathead bot that Dexter DeShawn buys for the Konpeki heist.

Under Suspicion

Meredith Stout traces the leak to Gilchrist, but she cannot prove it. Even after a harsh interrogation by her men, he refuses to confess or name the thieves and insists he is innocent. Meredith brings him to her meeting with V to see whether the two know each other. They have never met, so the test proves nothing.

Gilchrist is greedy, cowardly and good at lying. He keeps up his innocent act under pressure and turns on others the moment he gains the upper hand.

If V refuses Meredith's chip or warns Royce of her plan, the convoy is never recovered. Gilchrist is put in charge of the investigation, replaces Meredith's team with his own people and has her killed. If Meredith's plan works, she finally has proof, and she has Gilchrist killed. His body is later found near the place where V first met her. A Nomad V can also find his message to Maelstrom inside the All Foods plant and expose him.
