Frank Nostra

Frank Nostra
Type	Side Character

Frank Nostra is an Arasaka operator of the Special Operations Division and an old colleague of a Corpo V. The two first met during an operation code named "Icefall" on the east coast of the NUSA.

Biography

---

A week before V lost the job at Arasaka, Frank came to Night City after Operation "Cargo" in Cape Town, a scheme of his boss, Susan Abernathy, to smuggle weapons to the wars of Africa. On the morning of The Corpo-Rat, he stops V in a corridor of Arasaka Tower for a chat.

Months later, Abernathy starts "downsizing" the Special Operations department, and Frank is one of those cut. He sends V a message: he has files on Abernathy's crimes, enough to bring her down, and if V is reading it, he failed to use them in time and is dead. In War Pigs, V finds the hidden briefcase empty, and Frank alive. He has lost his property and his accounts, just as V once did. Desperate, he remembers that Jenkins and V tried to have Abernathy killed, and hopes that handing V over will win back her favour.

Endings

---

V can fight Frank, killing or knocking him out. A cold answer leads him to thank V for the honesty and take his own life. The kind answer, that he can start over in Night City with a gun and a full clip, as V once did, convinces him to walk away.
