Just Another Story is a repeatable Phantom Liberty side job of vehicle contracts for El Capitán, opened by Push It to the Limit. Across Night City, vehicles marked with a blue steering wheel icon appear on the map and the minimap. V steals each one and delivers it to the drop point, for loot and, the first times round, new vehicles to buy from AUTOFIXER.
Story
No Job Too Small
The journal teases V about the new habit of collecting cars and bikes for El Capitán. Has V ever heard the phrase "There is no job too small"? Of course V has. It is obviously the code V lives by.
The marked vehicle stays a target only for a while. If V does not get in it in time, or drives too far away, it loses its mark, and V has to wait for the next one. Some marked vehicles stand parked under guard. Others are already on the road, and V has to stop them or pull the occupants out before taking over.
Three Kinds of Contract
The contracts come in three kinds. In the first, V simply delivers the vehicle, but enemy cars try to kill V on the way. V must lose them, by leaving the yellow area on the minimap without anyone following, or kill them. The second has no pursuers, but adds a bonus for delivering the vehicle in good condition, with no parts missing or broken.
The third starts with a modified Mizutani Shion "Blackbird" fitted with vehicle hacking gear. V drives it to the real target, which is moving, and stays close until the Blackbird's system hacks it to a stop. V then hijacks the target and drives it to the drop point.
The Drop Point
Any contract can also come with a time limit, from a minute and a half to five and a half minutes depending on the distance. At the destination, V leaves the vehicle and collects the reward from a marked container nearby. The job ends when V leaves the garage or parking space.

Rewards
Completing Just Another Story rewards AUTOFIXER'S DISCOUNT EXTRAVAGANZZZA.
Rewards depend on how well the delivery goes, mostly on the bonus objectives and the vehicle's condition, and the best tier depends on V's level. They can include an Autofixer's Discount Extravaganzzza ticket, weapons, weapon attachments, a money shard, a skill shard and crafting materials. Discount tickets stack and can cut the price of a vehicle at AUTOFIXER all the way to nothing. Each of the first fourteen contracts also unlocks a new vehicle to buy.
Tips
Keep a gun equipped to deal with tails. Police barricades and resistance can wait on the route, for example in a tunnel. The destination is set when V gets into the vehicle, but the reward is set when the marked vehicle first appears. Reloading a save made before getting in can give a different reward.
Notes
- Push It to the Limit works as the tutorial for these contracts.
