Power Surge heals V the moment Overclock is switched on. The amount scales with the size of V's cyberdeck, so a serious netrunner gets a serious heal. It sits in the netrunning branch of the Intelligence tree. It pays back part of what the mode is about to cost.

Overclock spends health for RAM, which means switching it on is the start of a bill. A heal at the moment of activation pays some of that in advance.

Because the amount is tied to maximum RAM, the perk rewards the same implant the rest of the build already wants. A better cyberdeck means more RAM, more hacks and a larger heal every time the mode is used.

It suits a netrunner with a large cyberdeck, since the heal scales with maximum RAM rather than with health.

Buy it at the Phenom gate from Overclock, alongside Sublimation. One pays a lump at the start of the mode and the other pays steadily through it, which between them cover the health the mode spends.

Notes

Sublimation makes every RAM recovery effect heal as well while the mode is running, so the two together keep V alive through it.

Race Against Mind makes the low health the mode causes into a damage bonus instead.
