Where Eagles Dare is a side job about the Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru, the car V wins in Motorbreath. The car looks sharp, but its CrystalCoat paint system is broken, and trying to change its colour starts the job. The fix runs through Claire Russell, the street racer of the Afterlife, and a terminal belonging to someone called Mint.
Story
A Cursed Ride
Johnny reads the car's history in the journal. It has seen more shady business than a burnt out cop with a gambling habit: street races, body bag jobs, and getting stolen by a pair of clowns. A top mechanic built it to eat up the road. But if it ended up as some cop's private murder wagon, the first owner is either long dead or long gone.
With a past like that, Johnny reckons there must be more blood than polish on those rims. It still looks sharp, apart from the dead CrystalCoat. Either Claire can point V to the right fix, or she will prove Johnny right, and the car is simply cursed. If V spoiled Claire's one chance at revenge in her storyline, Johnny adds that he hopes she has forgotten. He is sure she will be all smiles and hugs.
The Fix
V contacts Claire about the faulty CrystalCoat and shares the car's data. She sends V to a location where the right information should be. There, V hacks into Mint's terminal and pulls the CrystalCoat data for the Semimaru, then uploads it to the car.
