Motorbreath is a side job for River Ward, the NCPD detective, after The Beast In Me and The Hunt. River has learned of an ultra rare supercar, a red Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru, that the NCPD impounded and then lost to a pair of cyberpsychos. Rather than leave it to the police, he hopes V can put the car to better use.
Story
High Speed Thrills
Johnny is on board in the journal. Car theft sounds like a job for the NCPD, not that they would ever do anything about it. Even if the request comes from a cop, a chance to chase a rare gem like the Semimaru is worth it. He smells high speed thrills coming, and signs right up.
The Chase
River says the car was last seen on the highway in Watson. V searches for the red Semimaru, gives chase and forces it to stop. The two cyberpsychos at the wheel then have to be dealt with. Once they are down, V jacks into the car to find out more about it, and sends what V learns to River.

Completing Motorbreath rewards Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru.
The ARV-Q340 Semimaru becomes V's, along with an Autofixer's Discount Extravaganzzza ticket.
Tips
Save before the search begins. A cyberdeck with vehicle quickhacks, or a very fast car of V's own, makes the chase much easier. Be ready to fight two cyberpsychos at once.
