The Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru is a one-off drift car that V wins in the side job Motorbreath. It is a hand-built racer from the Kickdown story, and it was made for driving sideways. Its all-wheel drive and huge engine make it one of the most powerful cars V can own. Drivers who like to slide through Night City's corners want it, and collectors want it because it is a one-off. V gets the Semimaru in the side job Motorbreath, which River Ward offers after The Hunt and The Beast in Me are done.
Performance
The Semimaru sends power to all four wheels from a very strong engine. The car feels very fast and handles well in play.
How to Get Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru Guide
- Finish River Ward's jobs up to The Hunt, and finish The Beast in Me.
- Wait for River's message about the stolen car, which starts Motorbreath.
- Chase the red Semimaru on the highway in Watson, stop it and defeat the drivers.

- Search the marked area until the Semimaru shows up.

- Send the information to River, and the car becomes V's.

Lore
The Semimaru carries the Yaiba name, but the Database says it never stood in any Yaiba showroom. It is an ultra-rare, limited model, and the one in Night City is more unique still. Street racer Mint and her partner Tiff rebuilt it in a back-alley garage over two years. They dropped in a new engine and tuned it for one purpose, extreme drifting, and tested it in the Badlands.
Mint later left the car behind, and the NCPD impounded it. Two detectives then used it for years to run down criminals on gigs they took under Mint's name. In the game's present, two street racers steal the Semimaru from the police, and one of them falls into cyberpsychosis behind the wheel. River Ward hears about the theft and asks V to get the car back before it hurts anyone else.
