Peltflayers are Daggers in Dragon's Dogma 2, known and designed for carving wolf's pelt. They're a good mid-game Weapon with their decent Strength and Knockdown Power stats.

Daggers of crude make. Known to carve through the pelts of wolves with exceptional ease.

How to get the Peltflayers Guide

You can obtain the Peltflayers by unlocking the black and gold treasure chest situated in a small chamber at the end of the Nameless Village Depths cave. To access this cave, head to the side yard of the Old Noble Manor within the Nameless Village, which is located to the east of Vernworth, adjacent to a lake on the eastern border of Vermund.
Another option to acquire the Peltflayers is to unlock the black and gold treasure chest located near the chamber illuminated by ghostly blue glowing lights on the second floor level of the Waterfall Cave, which is situated near the waterfall east of the Borderland Campground in Northern Vermund.

Smithing Upgrade Guide

Each weapon and armor in Dragon's Dogma 2 can be upgraded 3 times. There are five possible smithing upgrade paths to choose from: Vermundian, Elven, Battahli, Dwarven and Wyrmfire each effecting the weapon or armor's stats differently.
