Harve Village is a small coastal village in Vermund, south-west of Vernworth and south of Trevo Mine. It is known for its long struggle with the Saurians, for Stormwind Cave on its southern shore, and as the home of the Rivage Elder, a key figure in the main story.

Harve Village Lore and History

The people of Harve fled when the dragon attacked, and on their return they found Saurians had taken over parts of their village. The reptiles keep coming back, and the strain divides the villagers, with the chief, Jonas, at odds with Fyoran over how to deal with them. When Ulrika arrives in hiding from the queen regent's men, the villagers come to trust her, and she can end up as Harve's new chief.

The Rivage Elder, an old man who lives by the sea at the village's south-western edge, is a Dragonforged, and his tale sets the later main story in motion.

Harve Village Quests

Monster Culling sends the Arisen to Harve to help Captain Brant's soldiers cull the Saurians, a task that leads down into Stormwind Cave in search of missing men. Fyoran starts Scaly Invaders, asking the Arisen to drive the Saurians out of the village, and the work is only finished over later visits, once Monster Culling is done.

Readvent of Calamity leads to Harve when Ulrika leaves Melve, and finding her here starts Trouble on the Cape: a villager named Zoran has been taken into Stormwind Cave, Jonas refuses to send help, and Ulrika and Fyoran go after him with the Arisen. The outcome decides whether Ulrika becomes the village chief.

In the main story, Flickering Shadows sends the Arisen to the Rivage Elder's Home to hear the old man's tale. As he finishes, a passage opens in the depths of Stormwind Cave, and Convergence follows it to the ruins hidden inside.

Shops and Places in Harve Village

The Coastal Inn is the village inn, and Chandler's General Store, run by Chandler, sells arrows, curatives, weapons, armour and Ferrystones. Celica and Ines also trade goods in the village.

The village is spread around Bayside Square, with Bayside Home, the Coastal Hut, the Old Lighthouse, Harve Village Beach and the Rivage Elder's Home on the south-western shore. The Harve Village Portcrystal stands by the shoreline in the south-west, near the Rivage Elder's Home, and allows a return from anywhere with a Ferrystone. The Riftstone of Fellowship lies close to the village, and Stormwind Cave opens to the south.

Once the village has been cleared of Saurians and begins to rebuild, Sigurd can be found in the Coastal Hut, where he teaches the Mystic Spearhand vocation to those who missed him in Melve.
