The Ash of War: Dryleaf Whirlwind is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Standard affinity and the Dryleaf Whirlwind skill. It comes from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Dryleaf Whirlwind is the pinnacle of Dane's footwork-based martial arts: the wielder rises into the air with a series of spinning kicks, then crashes down with one final strike. The four kicks deal strike damage, good stance damage and heavy stamina damage to guarding foes. The skill also imbues kicking attacks with energy, extending their range. It suits hand-to-hand builds that want an aerial combo finisher.
Stats
It grants the Standard affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Heavy, Keen, Quality, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 9 FP. It fits Hand-to-Hand Arts.

Skill
Use it on enemies that are already staggered or stuck in a recovery, since the rising kicks carry the wielder into the air for a moment. The multiple hits trigger talismans that reward repeated hits, and status from the weapon builds up quickly. The Shattered Stone Talisman and the Divine Bird Warrior Greaves boost it as a kicking skill.
