The Ash of War: Golden Parry is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Sacred affinity and the Golden Parry skill. It is found in Leyndell, Royal Capital, near the end of a run.
Golden Parry performs an Erdtree incantation and swings the shield with a wide golden arc, deflecting enemy attacks a short distance in front of the wielder. A successful parry staggers the attacker and opens them to a critical hit. The extended reach means precise positioning matters less than with a normal parry. It suits shield users who parry often and want a little more room for error at range.
Stats
It grants the Sacred affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Quality or Lightning. The skill costs 4 FP. It fits Small Shield and Medium Shield.

Swing early enough for the golden arc to meet the attack in front of the shield, since the reach is the main advantage. The parry window is short, so it rewards learned timing more than reaction. Some bosses need two or more parries before their stance breaks.
