The Ash of War: Savage Claws is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Keen affinity and the Savage Claws skill. It is one of the expansion's additions, found in the Land of Shadow.
Savage Claws pounces forward like a beast and rips into the foe with a rapid series of six alternating left and right claw slashes. Each slash carries 60 percent of the weapon's status buildup, so the many hits stack bleed or frost quickly, and the full flurry deals 22 stance damage. It is the signature skill of the beast claws. It suits Dexterity and status builds that want relentless close-range pressure.
Stats
It grants the Keen affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Quality, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs 13 FP. It fits Beast Claw.

Skill
The pounce closes distance, so it works as an opener against enemies that are recovering or staggered. The six hits commit the wielder for the whole flurry, so it should not be started into an enemy attack. Multi-hit boosters and status affinities get the most out of the many slashes.
Good With
| Weapons | Beast Claw |

| Stats | Dexterity |
Notes
Savage Claws is already the innate skill of the Beast Claw, so the Ash of War mainly serves to change its affinity.
