The Briar Helm is a helm in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Briar Set.
The Briar Helm is a battered iron helm from a foreign land, worn by Elemer of the Briar, the Bell Bearing Hunter who murdered many instructors and merchants. The winding, rusted iron briars mark the guilty, usually those sentenced to death, and they make the armor deal damage during dodge rolls. The head piece is of medium weight with good robustness, and like every Briar piece it adds a small amount of damage when rolling into enemies. It suits roll-heavy builds, and a single piece is enough to trigger Malenia's Great Rune on contact.
Stats
It offers 9 poise for 5.1 weight. It also deals damage to enemies when rolling.
The Briar Helm is the only head piece that deals damage on its own: rolling into an enemy hits for a base 18 damage, and the effect stacks with the rest of the Briar Set and with the Mantle of Thorns incantation. It is also a good poise buy at 9 poise for 5.1 weight, with 31 robustness.
