The Dragonfire is a Dragon Communion incantation in Elden Ring. It becomes available partway through a run, in Caelid.
Dragonfire is one of the incantations of Dragon Communion, the power of those who hunted dragons and feasted upon their hearts. It transforms the caster into a dragon that breathes a wide wave of fire after a long wind up, and holding the cast lets it breathe a second time while turning to sweep different directions. The flames cover a wide area and can ricochet off walls, and unlike the named breaths it can be used on horseback, though not while jumping. Compared with Agheel's Flame it deals less damage but costs noticeably less FP, and it benefits from fire damage boosts along with the Dragon Communion Seal. It suits early Dragon Communion builds that want a wide fire breath for groups.
Effect
Transforms the caster into a dragon to breathe a wide wave of fire; charging extends the breath. Each cast costs 28 FP and 40 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Dragonfire Guide
