The Forge of the Giants is an enormous black cauldron on the easternmost peak of the Mountaintops of the Giants. A great iron chain tethers it to Flame Peak. The flame of the giants still smolders inside the bowl. The Erdtree is set ablaze here, and the Tarnished is then carried to Crumbling Farum Azula. It is reached after the Fire Giant falls.

Lore
The forge holds the flame of ruin, which burns with the power of a fell god. The Fire Giants once guarded it. Queen Marika sent Godfrey and his warriors to wage war on the giants, whose flame threatened her Age of the Erdtree. The giants were beaten, but the flame could not be put out. Marika cursed the last Fire Giant to tend it forever.
