The Lightning Fortification is an incantation in Elden Ring, from the Two Fingers school. It is picked up mid-game, in the Altus Plateau.
Lightning Fortification is an incantation of the Two Fingers' faithful, warning the Tarnished that following their set path will make enemies of monks, sorcerers, ancient dragon knights and the scions of gold. For 90 seconds it cuts lightning damage taken, by less against players, and it can be cast while moving. Its benefit shrinks as lightning negation from other sources rises, and as a body buff it will not stack with others of that type. Brother Corhyn stops offering it once the Forge of the Giants is lit, and the stronger Golden Lightning Fortification also protects nearby allies. It suits players preparing for lightning-wielding dragons and dragon cult knights.
Effect
Cuts lightning damage taken by 35% for 90 seconds and can be cast while moving. Each cast costs 20 FP and 13 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Lightning Fortification Guide
Lightning Fortification joins Brother Corhyn's stock for 7,500 runes once he moves to the Altus Plateau. If Corhyn dies, the Twin Maiden Husks sell it once given Corhyn's Bell Bearing; lighting the Forge of the Giants before it appears in his stock removes it from that playthrough.
- Reach the Altus Plateau, then talk to Brother Corhyn at the Roundtable Hold and rest.
- Find Corhyn on the road north of the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace, beside the map monument.
- Buy Lightning Fortification from him for 7,500 runes.
