The Lucidity is a Carian sorcery in Elden Ring. It becomes available partway through a run, in Liurnia of the Lakes.
Lucidity is one of the sorceries of the Carian royal family, whose knights are said never to waver. The caster raises the staff to conjure the Carian sigil underfoot, and a blue flash clears any sleep and madness buildup already on them. It can be cast while moving and acts as a sorcerer's answer to enemies and areas that inflict those statuses. It suits intelligence builds that face sleep or madness threats and would rather spend a memory slot than carry cure items.
Effect
Clears the caster's built up sleep and madness; it can be cast while moving. Each cast costs 10 FP and 10 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
How to Get Lucidity Guide
Lucidity drops from Preceptor Miriam in the inverted Carian Study Hall in Liurnia of the Lakes, which opens with the Carian Inverted Statue.
- Obtain the Carian Inverted Statue.
- Use the statue at the Carian Study Hall to turn the building upside down.
- Climb through the inverted hall and defeat Preceptor Miriam.
- Collect Lucidity from her body.
