The Magic Downpour is a Carian sorcery in Elden Ring. It is found in Liurnia of the Lakes, around the middle of a run.
Magic Downpour is one of the sorceries of the Carian royal family, said to have been taught by the Crystalians to mark the swearing of the old concord. It summons a mass of magic overhead that fires small projectiles over a cone-shaped area, and charging extends how long it keeps firing instead of raising the damage of each shot. Unlike many similar spells it can be aimed at a specific target, which makes it particularly useful against large enemies that soak up repeated hits. Charged casts can be layered on top of each other to stack damage, and the projectiles have slight tracking when locked on. It suits Carian sorcerers who want sustained area damage against big targets.
Effect
Summons a mass of magic overhead that fires small projectiles over a wide area; it can be cast while moving, and charging extends how long it fires. Each cast costs 18 FP and 17 stamina and takes up one memory slot.
