The Hollow Hound is a Hollow enemy in Enshrouded, found in the Springlands, Revelwood, the Nomad Highlands, the Kindlewastes, the Albaneve Summits and the Veilwater Basin. A skeletal hound found in various ruins across Embervale, and inside Hollow Halls. They use leaping attacks to close distance, then a series of bite attacks when at close range. It is weak to blunt damage.
Where to Find the Hollow Hound
Most Hollow Hounds live inside dungeons, above all the Hollow Halls, where they run with packs of other Hollow. Smaller groups also roam the open world, from the Springlands all the way to the Veilwater Basin. They gather around abandoned villages, hidden temples, old watchtowers and necropolis ruins. Some also prowl near Scavenger camps. The hounds in later regions are higher level, so they hit harder than the ones met early on.

How to Fight the Hollow Hound
The Hollow Hound leaps at its target to close the gap, then follows up with a string of bites. Dodging sideways as it jumps leaves it open for a counterattack. Hounds inside the Hollow Halls take half again as much damage from blunt weapons, while poison and Shroud damage only do half. Hounds out in the open world are different. Fire and Shroud damage hurt them more, and ice damage does less. Area attacks help when several hounds come at once.

Lore
The Hollow Hound is a skeletal hound that runs with the Hollow. The Hollow were an underclass cast out by the Flame and marked by a terrible curse. They were banished to the Hollow Halls, ancient crypts said to be thousands of years old. The curse fates them to walk Embervale in undeath for all eternity. The hound has lost its flesh but still hunts beside the other Hollow.
