Meldore
Meldore is the kingdom of King Gormander in Enshrouded. It covered the Revelwood and the Springlands, and its capital was Pikemead's Reach. Gormander was a son of Queen Pikemead and the brother of Queen Jezmina and the boss Lord Vorgoth.
Lore
The Revelwood Miniature Piece remembers Meldore at its best. Rivers flowed with wine, and the trees gave shade to tired travellers. Then the abuse of the Elixir spread, and the roots that gave the kingdom life began to rot.
Gormander's decrees call him the grand patron of the Revelwood and Springlands, whose watchful gaze unites his people. When a royal inquisitor was murdered at Glenwood's End, the king demanded justice in the name of the laws of Meldore.
A drought in Orindell sent many refugees into Meldore. One angry note complains about the newcomers and wants them sent back to the Kindlewastes.
Meldore bordered Rimgard, the land of the boss Vorgoth. Vorgoth's army besieged the capital and killed Gormander. A deserter from Rimgard later wrote that Gormander had never been a threat. His capital was almost defenceless, and the Elixir had only made his court plump and greedy.
Notes
The quest Gormander's Imperial Gardens and Gormander's War Banner I carry the king's name.
