Orindell

Orindell is the desert kingdom of the Kindlewastes in Enshrouded. Its ruler was Queen Jezmina, who signed her journals as Queen Jezmina of Orindell. She was the sister of the boss Lord Vorgoth, the ruler of Rimgard.

Lore

Orindell was not always a desert. The Kindlewastes Miniature Piece shows sandy dunes and rough cliffs, but its text says the land once looked different. A plaque in the Embervale Museum calls the Kindlewastes the largest terraforming experiment, in a land that was once lush.

The people of Orindell were known for their kindness. Ezramin, the youngest elder of the Ancients, praised them for it. His notes lie at the Kindlewastes Dungeon Entrance.

A drought drove many of its people into Meldore, where some locals resented the new mouths to feed. Jezmina then ordered her towns to be evacuated. She led a caravan out of the Kindlewastes towards Longkeep in the Springlands. On the way she met Emily Fray, who joined the caravan. Jezmina later travelled with the Ancients through the Blackmire and the Veilwater Basin, hiding Cinder Vessels along the way.

Notes

  • The song Child Of The Lyre on the Music Sheets page is set in Orindell, where bare feet dance on hot marble floors.
  • The axe Jezmina's Apotheosis carries the name of its queen.
