The Mushroom Crab is a peaceful animal in Enshrouded, found in Revelwood, Blackmire, the Nomad Highlands and the Veilwater Basin. They are timid by nature, and will attempt to scuttle away from any who might approach. If cornered, they will release a small cloud of poisonous spores to defend themselves before attempting to escape. Damaging the green poison sacks on their sides will cause them to drop without needing to kill the crab.
Where to Find the Mushroom Crab - Map Location
Most Mushroom Crabs live in Revelwood, often near Shroud Roots, hidden temples, Ancient Obelisks and Flame Altars. Smaller groups also turn up in the Veilwater Basin, for example around Queen Jezmina's Camp. A few live in the Blackmire and in the Nomad Highlands. The crabs are timid and scuttle away, and a cornered one releases a small cloud of poison spores. Hitting the green poison sacks on their sides makes them drop without killing the crab. Fire hurts them more than other damage.
