The Fell Mushroom Crab is a Fell enemy in Enshrouded, found in Revelwood and the Nomad Highlands. Fell Mushroom Crabs are a red, aggressive variant of the Mushroom Crab. They actively approach you character and emit a poison gas. Each Fell Mushroom Crab is characterized by four red growths encircling its central stalk, positioned between each set of legs. It is weak to fire damage.
Where to Find the Fell Mushroom Crab
Fell Mushroom Crabs live in the Shroud of the Nomad Highlands. The Shroud of Umber Hollow is the best-known spot to find them. Umber Hollow is a large, Shroud-filled pit, and its Elixir Well is guarded by the boss Fell Monstrosity. The Shroud timer runs fast there, so a Shroud Survival Flask helps on longer hunts. The crabs are the main source of Ammonia Glands, which go into Leather and the Flame offering for level 5.

How to Fight the Fell Mushroom Crab
- Shoot or hit the four red growths around its stalk first; each bursts, damages the crab and drops Ammonia Glands on the ground.
- Pick up the glands that fell during the fight as well as the ones on the body.

Lore
The Fell Mushroom Crab is a red, hostile form of the peaceful Mushroom Crab. Four red growths ring its stalk between the legs. Unlike its calm cousin, it walks up to intruders and releases a cloud of poison gas. Hitting the red growths makes them burst, which hurts the crab and drops Ammonia Glands on the ground. The Shroud turned a harmless creature of the Highlands into a walking poison trap.

Notes
- Like every Fell enemy it takes extra damage from Fire and takes no damage at all from Shroud attacks.
- Ammonia Glands are used to make Leather and to strengthen the Flame Altar.
