The Ancient Spires leads to the first spire of the game, the Springlands Ancient Spire. The Blacksmith explains that scaling it reveals more of the region. Inside are climbing puzzles, and the Flame at the top unlocks the spire for fast travel and marks the region's Ancient Obelisks.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Clear The Elixir Well, then speak to the Blacksmith.
- Travel to the Springlands Ancient Spire.
- Find the way into the spire.
- Climb through the spire to the top.
- Speak with the Flame at the top to unlock fast travel and new map knowledge.

Prerequisites
This quest follows Clear The Elixir Well, which the Blacksmith gives after Forge Weaponry or Armor. The Blacksmith wants to fight the Shroud, which springs from the Elixir Wells. The player enters the nearby Elixir Well and destroys the Shroud Root at its bottom. The guardian there drops the Fell Thunderbrute Head, and the root gives a Skill Point. Afterwards, the Blacksmith points to the Ancient Spire of the Springlands.
