The Blacksmith Needs A Shop builds a proper workshop for Oswald Anders, the Blacksmith. With a sheltered bed inside his shop he can craft more equipment. The quest walks through the Workbench, building blocks and the Construction Hammer.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Forge Weaponry or Armor. The quest appears while the Blacksmith has no bed.
- Craft and place a Workbench from the Manual Crafting tab. It needs String and Wood Logs.
- Craft Rough Wood Blocks or Rough Stone Blocks at the Workbench.
- Craft a Construction Hammer and build a workshop with the blocks.
- Place a bed inside the workshop so the Blacksmith has sheltered sleep. Aim the Summoning Staff at the bed to assign it to him if needed.
Prerequisites
This quest follows Forge Weaponry or Armor, the Blacksmith's first quest after Find The Sleeping Survivor. He asks for a piece of equipment to be crafted, such as a Scrappy Sword, a Spiked Club or any piece of armour. The weapons need Metal Scraps, which lie around the world and drop from Scavengers. The quest marks a spot for collecting them at Rookmore. Once that is done, the Blacksmith asks for a workbench, building blocks and a sheltered bed of his own.
