Rookmore is a village in the Springlands, north-west of Longkeep, now held by Scavengers. The Blacksmith marks it as a good place to collect Metal Scraps. Notes in the houses tell of refugees who came here during the war and found only suspicion. Three silver chests sit among the ruins.
Where to Find Rookmore - Map Location
Rookmore lies just south of the Ancient Vault - Blacksmith. The Ancient Spire - Springlands rises a short way north. The Scavenger Camp with Mine Shaft is to the south and Longkeep to the south-east. A Flame Shrine stands north of the village and another to the west.

Quests
The Blacksmith gives Forge Weaponry or Armor after his rescue. He asks for a Scrappy Sword, a Spiked Club or any piece of armour. These need Metal Scraps, and the quest marks Rookmore as the spot to collect them. Clearing the Elixir Well also completes the quest.

Enemies
Scavengers fill the village. They are survivors twisted by long use of the Elixir. They are one of the best early sources of Metal Scraps. A Scavenger Bonfire burns in the camp, and walking up to it unlocks its recipe at the Workbench.

Chests
A silver chest sits out in the open, next to the table with "A Cold Reception". A locked silver chest stands in the destroyed house near another note. It needs a Lockpick. The third silver chest is on the upper floor of the locked house. Climb up the back of the house to get in.

A silver chest waits on the upper floor of the locked house. The way in is a climb up the back of the house.

Lore Pages
"The Elixir, a Flood of Woe" lies on a table in the village. In it, Balthazar studies a formula made from tiny fungi that grow deep underground. He fears it will never be a cure, only a weapon. In "A Cold Reception", the nurse Helên arrives from Rimgard and finds only suspicious faces. She moves on to set up her own camp in Woodgard. "In Sickness And In Health" lies on the lower floor of the locked house. A survivor named Alienor hides there with her sick love Yolanda while creatures prowl outside.
