The Grim is a Shroud Root in the extreme south of the Kindlewastes. A powerful Fell boss guards the root. The site also holds a gold chest among explosive barrels. Destroying the root gives a skill point.
Where to Find The Grim - Map Location
The Grim lies in the far south of the Kindlewastes. Deepcut is the closest camp, to the west. A cave passage opens to the east, and the Flame Shrine of Manathor lies further east. A Night Sanctum and a Hidden Temple lie to the west and north-west.

Enemies
The Fell, the Shroud's own soldiers and beasts, crowd the area around the root. Their boss stands guard at the root itself, so the root can only be cut once the boss is dealt with.

The gold chest stands near explosives, fabric and Enshrouded oil. The explosives can go off, so care is needed when fighting or opening the chest there. A silver chest also stands at the site.
