Nothing says a passage has to be a square hole. The Ashwood Arch spans a 2x2 opening with a curved top and costs 2x Ashwood from the Supports section. It turns a plain gap between two posts into something worth walking through.

How to Build It

It takes two Ashwood, and as always you need a Workbench in range. It needs a clear 2x2 gap to fill, so frame the opening first with 2 m poles on either side and let it snap between them, rather than forcing it into a wall you have already closed.
