When a full square will not fit, the Ashwood Floor 1x1 closes the gap: a single metre of decking for two Ashwood, from the Flooring part of the build menu. Reach for it around a stairwell or a Hearth, and in the corner where a round tower meets a square hall.
How to Build It
Each tile costs two Ashwood, placed with a Workbench in range. Ashwood shrugs off rain where ordinary planks rot, but flooring is the one part of the set that still burns, so keep open flame off it. Support also runs up from the ground, so a tile hung far out past a beam will sag and fall.
