Most floors in the Ashlands are made of the Ashwood Floor 2x2: four Ashwood for a two metre square, and the Flooring piece you will lay by the dozen. Dropped onto a grid of beams, it gives you a level deck to walk and fight on, and its edges line up with Ashwood Walls and poles without any fuss.
How to Build It
Each square costs four Ashwood, with a Workbench in range. Rest it on beams or poles rather than hanging it off a wall, because support has to reach the ground and a long unbraced span will come down. Ashwood ignores rain, but floors are still the part of the set that fire can take.
