The Ashwood Half Wall is half the width of the full panel and the same height, and it is what a run of walling ends on when a room is not a round number of metres across. At one Ashwood each, it is the cheapest thing in the Walls menu, and two side by side span the same gap as a full wall with the joint wherever you want it.
How to Build It
It costs one Ashwood, placed with a Workbench in range. Use it to square off the end of a run or to frame either side of a doorway. Rain does not touch Ashwood, so an outer wall built from it skips the patching a Wood wall needs after a storm, and it will not catch when the Ashlands throw fire at it.
