The Ashwood Roof Cross 45° is the steep version of the roof cross: it fills the triangle of a sharply pitched gable with crossed timber instead of a solid face. It sits in the Roofing section and costs a single Ashwood. It follows the same line as the 45° Beam, so it pairs naturally with a frame already pitched that steeply.
How to Build It
The cost is one Ashwood, plus a Workbench close enough to build and repair from. The two crosses are not interchangeable: the 45° cut will not sit flush under a roof framed at 26°, so choose your pitch before you start the end wall.
