A 26° roof leaves a thin wedge of open air beneath its edge, and the Ashwood Wall 26° is cut to close it. You find it in the Walls part of the build menu for a single Ashwood. Its top edge runs at the same shallow pitch as the roofing, so the gable end fills in flush instead of leaving a gap for the wind.

How to Build It

Each piece costs one Ashwood, and you need a Workbench in range to place it and to repair it later. Watch the angle: a 26° wedge only closes a gable when the roof above it also runs at 26°. Put a steeper roof on top and you are left with a triangle of daylight.
