Once one side of a steep gable is closed, the Ashwood Wall 45° (inverted) closes the other. It is in the same Walls menu, costs the same single Ashwood and has the same 2x0.4x2 block. The slope runs the opposite way, so the two halves meet at the ridge instead of clashing over it.
How to Build It
It costs another single Ashwood, with a Workbench in range. Build it in the same pass as its upright twin while the snap points are still easy to see, because finding the right corner of a 45° gable once the roof is on is hard work.
