The Black marble arch turns an opening between two columns or across a doorway into a span. It is five blocks of Black Marble shaped into a curve, listed with the supports in the build menu. Reach for it when a gap is too wide to leave bare and a flat beam would look wrong. The marble shrugs off rain along with the fire, frost and poison that chew through timber.

How to Build It

The arch costs 5x Black Marble and needs a Stonecutter nearby to place and to repair it. Both feet have to land on something that carries stone, such as a column, a wall or the ground itself. Raise the supports first and drop the arch between them, rather than trying to hang it off a wooden frame.
