The Black marble cornice is trim rather than structure. Its face flares outward as it rises, and you lay a row of them along the top of a wall so the storey above lands on a lip instead of a bare edge. Each one takes five Black Marble, and the build menu keeps it with the Supports alongside the rest of the Mistlands blocks.
How to Build It
It costs five Black Marble a block, with a Stonecutter in range to build and repair. A cornice only reads as one band when it runs unbroken, so measure the wall out in whole blocks before you start and keep the corner version on hand for the ends. The Stonecutter's circle has to cover the whole run too, or you will be moving it along as you go.
