Turn a cornice upside down and you have the Black marble plinth, a block that flares outward at the foot instead of the top. Each one takes five Black Marble and sits under Supports. A row of them gives a wall or a column the broad base every Dvergr hall in the Mistlands stands on.
How to Build It
It costs five Black Marble apiece, with a Stonecutter close enough to reach the work. The plinth is the course that meets the ground, so level the terrain before you lay it. Marble takes its support from the earth upward, and an uneven footing shows in every course you stack above it.
