The Chopping Block is an axe left buried in a scarred stump. It is filed with the crafting stations in the build menu, but it is not a station in its own right. It is an upgrade you place beside your Workbench, raising that bench a level and opening the recipes and repairs a bare table cannot handle.
How to Build It
It costs ten Wood and ten Flint picked off any shoreline, and you build it with a Workbench already in range. Position matters more than cost here. It only counts as an upgrade while it stands close beside the bench it serves, so set it tight against the table rather than across the room. Leave elbow room too, because every later bench upgrade wants its own patch of floor around the same spot.
