Poles stand and beams lie across them, and the Log beam 2m is the short horizontal piece of the corewood family. A single corewood buys a beam that ties posts together, carries a floor between them and gives a wall something to hang from.

How to Build It

It costs one Corewood, with a Workbench in range. A beam only holds up what its posts can carry, so run it between log poles rather than off the end of a plank wall and it will carry a floor much further out. Rain damages the straight log beams, so save them for the inside of the frame and use the angled ones where the weather gets at them.
