The portal stone is the portal that moves ore. It works exactly like the wooden portal, with the same tags and the same pairing, except that it lets everything in your inventory through.
How to Build It
You need a stonecutter in range and these materials:
- 10 Greydwarf eyes
- 30 Grausten
- 2 Molten cores
The Catch
Both ends have to be stone. If you pair a stone portal with a wooden one, the trip only works one way: you can step in carrying metal, but you cannot come back the same way with it.
Notes
- The molten cores in the recipe come from the Ashlands.
- Grausten is cut from Ashlands ruins and rock, so your first stone portal usually goes up on the beachhead.
- Unlike the wooden portal, it takes no rain damage.
