Stone Floor 2x2 is a two by two slab, flat on top and heavy enough to shrug off a fire. It is the Flooring tab's answer to a hall that keeps burning down. At six Stone a piece it is expensive next to a wooden floor, so most builders save it for the ground storey, a Forge room, or anywhere a flame burns all day.
How to Build It
Each slab costs six Stone and has to be laid inside the working radius of a Stonecutter. Stone will not hang off timber, so build these up from the ground or on stone already standing below them. Watch the cost mount across a wide floor: that is why so many halls end up stone at the bottom and wood above.
