The Wood Pole 1m is a stubby round post, the smallest column in the Supports section and the cheapest thing you can stack to gain a little height. One Wood buys a metre of upright timber for propping a floor, raising a fence line, or topping out a column that finished just short of the beam above it.
How to Build It
Each pole costs one Wood with a Workbench in range. Poles are how support travels from the ground into the rest of the house. When the placement ghost starts turning orange, the answer is usually a line of these dropped straight down to solid earth, not more bracing up in the roof.
