Earth Elemental Decoction is a decoction that raises resistance to critical effects that drain Vitality in combat. One brew holds 1 charge, a dose lasts 30 minutes, and it adds 50 Toxicity. It is brewed from the mutagen of an Earth Elemental.
The resistance grows the longer a critical effect stays active, so it helps most against effects that last a long time.
Earth Elemental
The Earth Elemental is one of the Elementa. It is made of mud, clay, sand and rock dust, bound with water and brought to life by magic. It can take huge punishment and is almost impossible to knock off balance. It kills by smashing with its fists or throwing huge stones. Dimeritium Bombs and Elementa Oil are its weaknesses.
How to Get Earth Elemental Decoction
- Liberate an abandoned site in White Orchard or Velen, then buy the formula from the herbalist there. It also turns up as random loot.
- Brew it from the alchemy menu, outside combat, with 1 Dwarven Spirit, 1 Earth Elemental Mutagen and 1 Pringrape, plus Balisse Fruit.
- Meditate with strong alcohol such as Dwarven Spirit, Alcohest or White Gull in the inventory to refill its charge.
