Evil's Soft First Touches is the first main quest of Hearts of Stone. A new contract on the notice board at the Seven Cats Inn leads Geralt to Olgierd von Everec. Olgierd wants a monster killed in the sewers of Oxenfurt. The monster turns out to be an enchanted prince of Ofir, and his soldiers seize Geralt for the killing. Gaunter O'Dimm saves him at a price. Choices
At the Garin Estate, Olgierd's men mock Geralt. He can answer calmly or start a fistfight with one of them.
At the burning manor, two of Olgierd's men are about to kill a third. Geralt can step in to save the man. Olgierd then comes out and fights Geralt for the man's life. Geralt can also just ask what is going on. The man then dies, and a young woman stabs Olgierd in the back. Either way, Olgierd survives a wound that should kill him.
